Reel Time Theaters

Are you looking for a decent movie theater for English movies? How about an average viewing experience? What about subpar seating? Then look no further, you have found the theater to be at.

While this is my first time here, it certainly won't be my last either. If you can experience English movies off post, I would recommend it, if possible. The food prices are okay, at best. Prices for food and drinks are not robbing you blind like in the United States.

The prices for movie tickets are cheap and it doesn't hurt to come but the amount of seats in a movie theater is a meagle amount. For example, in auditorium 4, the movie screen isn't the biggest but it's still bigger than your TV at home. I only counted 8 rows of seats, with 72 being present.

I give this establishment three stars out of five. Just simply for being average and one of the employees not knowing a few questions I had asked. This movie theater is still okay enough to bring your family and friends though.

“Comfortable, Convenient, and Classic Base Theater Vibes”

The Ramstein movie theater is exactly what you’d expect from a well-run base theater—and then some. The prices are unbeatable, especially if you’re used to paying €10+ off base or even more back in the States. You get first-run movies, a decent schedule, and easy access right on post.

The seating is comfortable, the screens are solid (not IMAX-level, but plenty big), and the sound quality is surprisingly good. Concessions are basic but nostalgic—popcorn, candy, soda, nachos—nothing fancy, but it hits the spot. Bonus: they take card and the lines are usually short.

It’s a great place to catch a movie without driving far, especially on a chill weekend or after a long workday. Plus, the mix of American movies in English is a lifesaver if your German isn’t top-tier.

Only reason it’s not 5 stars: the seats are a little dated, and sometimes the movie selection skips over some of the lesser-known new releases. But overall, great experience every time—clean, cheap, and convenient.

The prices are reasonable for the movies and snacks. The movie theater is outdated, seats are stained bad, it has a wet smell, but we go for the convenience.

The chairs themselves can use a good cleaning. (Of course customers can also be better at caring for the seats too) Otherwise it’s fine for a base theater.

Stale food, dirty facility, and employees with bad attitudes. Go to Broadway Kino or UCI. This place is a dump!

Went to see a movie today for the first time here and it’s a decent theater. I just don’t like the seating like the position of the back portion of the seat keeps me sitting a certain way without any way to adjust it. Other than that, the picture and audio quality was nice

The employees helped us with a ticketing issue we had and were extremely helpful and friendly. Get customer service.

Reel Time, AAFES is okay. The staff is polite, the theaters are average, and the concession stand usually has most food items. It is what it is, it is not bad. [Kid boosters are currently available for free].
